BELL X1, one of Ireland’s most enduring and acclaimed bands, will take to the iconic King John’s Castle stage on Saturday June 6, 2026, for a very special summer show in Limerick.

For over two decades, Bell X1 have built a reputation as one of Ireland’s most inventive, dynamic, and consistently brilliant live acts. Their eight studio albums have showcased an expansive creative range—spanning indie, alternative, folk-rock, synth-pop, balladry, and electronica—earning them four Choice Music Prize nominations and a devoted audience across Ireland and beyond.

The band—Paul Noonan, Dave Geraghty and Dominic Phillips, joined live by Glenn Keating and Tim O’Donovan—remain a beloved fixture of the Irish music landscape, admired for their lyrical craft, genre-shifting imagination, and unforgettable performances. Work is already underway on a brand-new studio album, set for release in 2026.

Speaking ahead of the announcement, Mick Dolan said: “Few bands have the connection with Irish audiences that Bell X1 have. Their ability to make every show feel intimate, even in a venue as big as the Castle, is something special. We can’t wait to have them back.”
