Irish chart-toppers announce massive summer show at historic venue

FOR their huge amount of Limerick fans, The Coronas, will step onto the King John’s Castle stage once again on Friday May 29, 2026, for a massive summer show.

The band continues to shine on the biggest stages at home and overseas. Their last four albums have all gone straight to No. 1 in the Irish charts, whilst their live following has grown enormously with sold-out tours across the UK, North America, and Australia – a testament to their longevity and rising global profile.

With more than 15 years of headlining major Irish shows and festivals, The Coronas have built a reputation for delivering unforgettable nights filled with sing-along moments, soaring choruses, and undeniable good vibes. Their legendary annual Christmas shows at The 3Olympia Theatre and their standout Electric Picnic performances remain firm fan favourites.

Speaking at The Launch, Mick Dolan added: “The Coronas are an amazing live band, and we’re delighted to have them back at the Castle. Their shows here are always special — fans are in for an incredible night.”
