MARY Immaculate College (MIC) in Limerick recently hosted a first-of-its-kind conference in partnership with the Irish NGO SeeBeyondBorders Ireland.
EPIC Connections: Cambodian Irish Collaboration for Education Transformation was a special one-hour event bringing together educators, researchers, development partners, and citizens committed to inclusion, social justice, and innovative approaches to global education.
The event highlighted a rapidly expanding partnership between Ireland and Cambodia, shining a light on transformative work in teacher development and educational leadership.
Central to the event was the EPIC Alliance (Enhancing Pedagogy in Cambodia) — an emerging Irish Aid-supported collaboration between SeeBeyondBorders, Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) in Cambodia, and Ireland’s largest teacher training institutions, MIC, and Maynooth University.
