Croom shop celebrate double awards win

CELEBRATIONS were on the double for one Limerick shop after taking home two major accolades at the annual ShelfLife C-Store Awards.

SPAR Croom, owned and operated by Padraig Broderick were honoured Silver for Best Large Convenience Store Award and National Lottery Retailer of the Year.

These awards, among the most prestigious in Ireland’s convenience retail sector, were presented at a gala event in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, attended by more than 450 industry leaders.

SPAR Croom’s recognition as one of the best large convenience stores in the country highlights its commitment to quality, customer service, and innovation.

Speaking about the achievement, Colin Donnelly, Sales Director, BWG Foods, said: “Congratulations to Padraig and the entire team at SPAR Croom on this fantastic double win. Emily O’Kane, Retail Customer Experience Manager at National Lottery, presented the Silver award  for Best Large Convenience Store to Padraig Broderick and Calum Nihill, while Mary Grace from the National Lottery handed over the award for National Lottery Retailer of the Year.
