CAROLINE Currid, the renowned sports psychologist, is anticipated to link up with Limerick ahead of the 2026 Hurling Season, which begins next month with the League and thereafter the Munster and All-Ireland Championships.

Her return is sure to bolster attempts to land a sixth Liam MacCarthy crown on manager John Kiely’s watch.

She was previously involved in the breakthrough year of 2018 and again two years later and again in ‘21.

Currid has also enjoyed football All-Ireland wins with both Dublin and Tyrnone. Meanwhile, five-time All-Ireland medal winner Séamus Flanagan, 28, who is not part of Kiely’s Limerick plans next year, has moved quickly on and is to manage Tipperary Premier Intermediate side Boherlahan/Dualla in 2026.
