Co-owners Diana Thornton and Andy Smith launched the shop in 2020 driven (or pedalled) by the belief that “cycling should be enjoyable and inclusive for everyone”.

“Since opening our Abbeyfeale Greenway Hub here, we’ve seen a steady increase in visitors choosing to stay, eat, shop, and explore locally because of Limerick Greenway.”
The Greenway, the duo say, has extended the tourism season, supported jobs, and created opportunities for small businesses like ours across West Limerick.
“For LiKe Bikes, the Greenway has allowed us to expand our bike hire services, school training, invest in bike recycling, and build a stronger year-round operation. Limerick Greenway is an asset that continues to deliver long-term value for the region”, the pair added.
As well as new and refurbished bikes, the store also offers custom fittings, including frame size checks, saddle adjustments, and style adjustments.
On-site qualified mechanics are also on hand to provide professional servicing, repairs and safety checks to keep cyclists confident and road ready.
There are also several community and education programmes include group cycle training, school cycling programmes and corporate team-building exercises.
