LIMERICK’S Roisín Ní Riain, Drombanna, is among the nominees for RTÉ Sportsperson of the Year, which will be announced during a live broadcast on the national station this Saturday (8.05pm onwards).

In 2025, Ní Riain enjoyed a hat-trick of silvers at the World Para Swimming Championships including the 100m back stroke, 100m breaststroke and 400m free style, along with bronze in the 100m butterfly and 200m individual medley.
