Traditionally Munster fixtures with Leinster have been special, and this writer has been lucky enough to enjoy such Christmas treats for many, many years.
This Saturday’s clash at Thomond Park (kick-off, 7.45pm) is set up to be a real cracker with both teams eager for URC points, not to mention the ‘Bragging Rights’.
There is a lot at stake in this pairing, it is a sell-out and there is no doubt that they will be treated to a thriller.
Munster will be confident after recent performances but still expect head coach Clayton McMillan to make a few changes.
