GARDAÍ dented drug dealing operations after searching a house and recovering over half a million euro worth of suspected cannabis herb.
Gardaí said they seized the drugs at a house at Carrigkerry, County Limerick, on December 30.
A Garda spokesman said: “Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the discovery of suspected cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €540,000 near Newcastle West.”
“Members of the Divisional Drugs Unit based at Henry Street Garda Station seized the drugs at a residential property at Carrigkerry.”

Gardaí said the drugs would be transported to Forensic Science Ireland, the State’s science laboratory service, for analysis.
“No arrests have been made at this time. Investigations are ongoing,” added the Garda spokesman.
