
GARDAĆ dented drug dealing operations after searching a house and recovering over half a million euro worth of suspected cannabis herb.
GardaĆ said they seized the drugs at a house at Carrigkerry, County Limerick, on December 30.
A Garda spokesman said: āGardaĆ in Limerick are investigating the discovery of suspected cannabis herb with an estimated street value of ā¬540,000 near Newcastle West.ā
āMembers of the Divisional Drugs Unit based at Henry Street Garda Station seized the drugs at a residential property at Carrigkerry.ā
GardaĆ said the drugs would be transported to Forensic Science Ireland, the Stateās science laboratory service, for analysis.
āNo arrests have been made at this time. Investigations are ongoing,ā added the Garda spokesman.
