
ANOTHER Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for Limerick, following the one to set in from 6pm this evening (Saturday).
Met Éireann on Friday issued a Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning for Limerick, along with the rest of Munster, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, and Wicklow.
The weather service said that the warning, in place from 6pm this evening until 11am on Sunday morning, will bring temperatures between -2 and -4 degrees, along with sharp or severe frost and ice.
A second Status Yellow warning will be in place tomorrow (Sunday) of the same duration, from 6pm and lasting until 11am on Monday morning.

- External Walls: Up to €8,000 Grant
- Attic: Up to €1,500 Grant
- Cavity Walls: Up to €1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to €4,500 Grant
The fresh warning covers the same counties as will be impacted by this evening’s Status Yellow, and warns of the same harsh conditions.
A Status Yellow snow and ice warning will be in place for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Louth, and all of Connacht from 6pm this evening until 11am tomorrow morning, and again from 6pm on Sunday evening into 11am on Monday morning.
