Unicef donation — Local author Mike MacDomhnaill made the donation to UNICEF.

A GENEROUS Limerick writer has presented a cheque to Unicef from the proceeds of his recent new collection of poems.

Local author Mike MacDomhnaill recently released his latest collection of poems, Poems for Palestine, with the Limerick Writers’ Centre’s Revival Press.

In a token of good will fitting the book’s theme, Mike has donated the proceeds to far to Unicef’s United Nation’s Children’s Fund.

He presented a checque recently to Unicef’s Síophra Pringle.

The book is available in Hayes in Newcastle West, Rathkeale Post Office, O’Mahony’s in Limerick City, and An Siopa Milseán in Abbeyfeale.
