
COURTESY of TG4, there will be live television coverage of Limerick taking on Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling League from the Gaelic Grounds on Wednesday, throw-in 7.35pm.
This 60-minute contest, a repeat of last year’s Munster Final between the pair at the same venue, will be refereed by Thomas Walsh of Waterford.
It’s a must-win contest for the home side.
At the weekend, Limerick – under manager John Kiely for a tenth year – suffered a narrow loss away to Clare in Tulla.
The final of the competition is listed for Saturday January 17.
Meanwhile, Limerick are away to Cork in the McGrath Cup (Senior Football) at Páirc Uà Rinn this Saturday, 2pm.
The sides are also due to collide on Leeside in the opening round of the Munster Championship in April.
At the weekend, a near complete Shannonside debutant team suffered an opening season competition loss to Tippeary at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.
