Road reopens after two-car crash near Limerick primary school

GARDAÍ are investigating a two-car collision in County Limerick, which is reported to have occurred near a primary school.

Emergency services, including Gardaí, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, and paramedics with the National Ambulance Service, arrived at the scene in Crecora, believed to be nearby to Crecora NS, at approximately 8am this morning (Tuesday, January 6).

The road was closed following the incident with motorists asked to avoid the area and take an alternative route, but has since reopened.

Gardaí say no injuries have been reported at this time.
