ST CLEMENTS College in Limerick presented a cheque for an impressive €500 to homeless charity NOVAS, following the charity’s annual Christmas Sleep-Out event.

School completion worker Cora Ryan organised a group of students from the school to take part in the recent sleep-out, which aims each year to highlight street homelessness and raise funds for a good cause.

Principal, Michael O’Connor, praised the students taking part, saying: “I am extremely proud of our students for their commitment and compassion in supporting such an important cause.

Events like this help our boys develop empathy, responsibility, and an understanding of the real challenges faced within our community.”
