SUBMISSIONS are open for the 2026 Desmond O’Grady International Poetry Competition.
The annual poetry competition, run by the Limerick Writers’ Centre, honours the life and work of the late Desmond O’Grady, who passed away in 2014.
Run during the Centre’s April is Poetry Month, the annual competition invites submissions from poets of all walks of life.
The winner will be announced during April’s festival, and will be invited to give a reading of their work.
Closing date for entries is at midnight on March 7, with submission to [email protected] or by post to Limerick Writers’ Centre, C/O The Umbrella Project, 78 O’Connell Street, Limerick.
