
LIMERICK are well represented in the Cup Finals at the National Basketball Arena, Dublin this weekend.
In the Women’s Division 1 contest, Limerick Sport Huskies and Cleveland Rockets of Antrim meet on Sunday (12.15pm) as a curtain-raiser to the Men’s Division 1 decider between Limerick Sport Eagles and Drogheda Wolves (Louth), 2.30pm.
Huskies have leading scorers in Orlaith Woods, Clara Santa Gomez (December’s Player of the Month) and Shelby Harmeyer.
In their semi, Huskies overcame Moy Tolka Rovers, 74-45.
Huskies are coached by Patrick O’Regan.
Huskies: Tori Spencer, Hannah Cremin, Cathy Grant, Orlaith Woods, Simone O’Shea, Fiona O’Connell, Emilie Hamel, Clara Santa Gomez, Sophie Moore, Shelby Harmeyer.

Leonard was shortlisted for the most recent Player of the Month award.
Eagles, under coach Niall McDermott, beat Templeogue 84-68 in the semi-final.

Celtics, who defeated Templeogue 79-59 in the last four, contest the U18 final against Brunell (Cork) on Saturday, 4.45pm.

It will be followed by the Men’s Super League National Cup final between Ballincollig, who squeezed past Celtics after overtime, and Tralee Warriors.
