THIRTEEN schools in Limerick are to share in a government funding allocation of €25,500 sustainable development projects.

Among those receiving funding are Fedamore CNS, Glenbrohane NS, Knocklong NS, Milford NS, Murroe NS, Scoil Naomh Mhuire, Scol Pól, Castletroy College, Coláiste Chiaráin, Coláiste Íosaef, Coláiste Nano Nagle, and Limerick ETTS.

Projects funded under the allocation include biodiversity spaces, food tracking and waste apps, fashion and recycling initiatives, sensory areas, and polytunnels.

County Limerick TD and Minister of State Niall Collins welcomed the funding allocation, saying that “there are a wide range of ESD projects underway in Limerick’s primary and post-primary schools and this funding will be a huge help to them.”
