SOCIAL Democrats councillor Shane Hickey-O’Mara asked Limerick Council to share details of the “agreement in principle” with Caherdavin Parish in relation to the location of a new playground and community park in the parish field.
“When and where were meetings held with community stakeholders in advance of this agreement?” Cllr Hickey-O’Mara inquired.
“When was the decision made in relation to a new community park for the area? Why were all Limerick City North representatives not kept updated on these meetings and ensuing decisions?” he asked.
The Council clarified that it was not at liberty to disclose any details at this stage, as discussions remain ongoing.
