STUDENTS at Colaiste Íde agus Iosef embraced the festive spirit of giving and generosity over the Christmas season, taking part in the annual St Vincent de Paul hamper campaign.
Students at the Abbeyfeale packaged and donated dozens of hampers to contribute towards the charity’s annual appeal and help local families in need.
Over a number of weeks, students from all years across the school collected food items including tinned vegetables, pasta, cereals, tea, and festive treats, and arranged and decorated them into generous hampers.
“It feels good knowing we’re helping people, we wanted the hampers to feel like a gift, not just food,” one student said.
