INDEPENDENT councillor Jerome Scanlan has quizzed Limerick City and County Council about the removal of poles from the recently provided footpath infrastructure at Monagea and Feohanagh in County Limerick.

He was informed at January’s monthly Newcastle West district meeting that the Council has been in contact with Openeir since last year in relation to getting these poles moved.

“Openeir has indicated that the poles will be moved by their subcontractor Circet in the coming weeks,” the Council told Cllr Scanlan.
