THE run up to this year’s Great Limerick Run got underway at the Strand Hotel on Monday.
The annual race will take place on May 3 this year, and is expected to grow on last year’s participation of 18,000, with 6,000 already registered to hit the starting blocks.
The race returns for its 17th year, and last year alone raised over €300,000 for various charities.
The Limerick Post is a proud sponsor of this year’s event.
