LIMERICK’s Reece Hickey was one of 32 students graduating from the Air Navigation and Engineering Services.

The graduations took place on January 23 at the Savoy Hotel in Limerick City.

Reece graduated among a group of 14 air traffic control officers, 15 air traffic safety electronics engineers, and three aviation radio officers.

They will now join AirNav Ireland’s workforce, looking after the safety and efficient management of Irish airspace.

AirNav Ireland provides air traffic management services across almost 500,000 square kilometres of Irish-controlled airspace and manages the safety of flights through Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports, as well as aircraft traversing the busy North Atlantic airspace.
