A LIMERICK Post reader contacted this newspaper to let us know about a very good girl who has been working hard each week to help keep her neighbours informed about all the goings on around Limerick.
Sonya the terrier from Castleconnell takes a trip to Shannon Stores each week to personally deliver the Limerick Post to her neighbours Mona and Lil.
Sonya’s mum Mary said the caring pup “loves delivering the Post every week”, and “everyone in the village knows her as the dog who carries the paper”.
Mary shared a photo of the news hound spotted out and about at a 5km run in the village on her delivery route.
