A MESSAGE of reflection on the future of Treaty United from club managing director Ian McMahon.

TREATY United is entering an important phase, defined by clarity of purpose and a renewed focus on sustainability.

Ours is a club that’s moving forward with ambition, but also with a clear understanding of who we are and what we represent.

Treaty United is rooted in Limerick, and everything we’re doing is about building something the city and wider region can be proud of.

We want our teams to be honest, hard-working and competitive. Across both the men’s and women’s squads, there’s a strong balance between experienced players and young, emerging talent coming through our pathway. Development is hugely important, but it has to sit alongside a real desire to compete every week.

Off the pitch, our focus is firmly on long-term stability.

Improving the overall matchday experience and strengthening commercial partnerships are key priorities.

A sustainable club is well run, transparent and professional in how it operates.

Season tickets play a big role in that. They offer great value for supporters, but they also give the club vital stability as we plan ahead.

Community engagement remains central to the club’s identity. You’ll see deeper connections with schools, grassroots football, volunteers and local organisations.

Treaty United exist to represent Limerick, and that responsibility extends far beyond what happens on the pitch.

Progress isn’t always linear in football. But we’re building step by step, guided by clear principles and a long-term vision.

Treaty United begin their new Men’s First Division away to Cork City at Turner’s Cross on Friday February 13, with the first home tie pencilled in for the Markets Field against Bray Wanderers a week later.
