THE annual Croom St Patrick’s Day 10k run returns this year, continuing a long-standing local tradition that brings runners, walkers, and spectators together in the heart of the community.
The event is being organised by the Croom Community Development Association, and is sponsored by Croom Medical.
This year’s run takes place at 9am on March 17, which leaves plenty of time to attend the St Patrick’s Day parade, organisers said.
The route will follow the riverside walk in Croom, taking in the bridge and Croom Castle, continuing through Croom Town Park and out of town via Caherass before making its way back to Croom Sports Hall.
