INDEPENDENT councillor Jerome Scanlan has asked Limerick City and County Council about its plans for road reconstruction to be undertaken along a section between O’Brien’s Auctioneering Agency and An Greasai at Maiden Street in Newcastle West.
He was informed at January’s monthly area meeting for the Newcastle West Municipal District that the roads engineer for the district will carry out a site inspection and will determine following that what works are required to bring the roadway up to standard.
