FINE Gael councillor Peter Doyle quizzed Limerick City and County Council on plans to repair dangerous building on Thomas Street beside the former Crew Brewery.
“For some time the footpath is blocked off, and the building is an eyesore,” Cllr Doyle commented at January’s Metropolitan district meeting of the Council.
In response, the Council said that works contracts have been awarded to PBC Ltd to advance construction on the Living Georgian City 33/34 Thomas Street Project.
Cllr Doyle was informed that works are due to commence in Q1 2026 with an anticipated 19-month works programme.
