A CHARITY run is being organised by the daughter of a late Limerick woman who passed away in 2020 following an unexpected illness.

The 5km Run for Your Mum will take place on March 14 at 11am in Barefield, County Clare.

It is being organised by Rebecca Walsh, in memory of her late mother Caroline Walsh. All proceeds raised will go to Sláinte an Chláir, the Clare Cancer Support Centre that supported Caroline during her illness.

Rebecca Walsh said “the 5km route is designed as a celebration of movement and remembrance, with each kilometre marking a year since my mother’s passing and honouring her love of running and exercise.”
