LIMERICK District League are away to their counterparts from Galway in the prized Oscar Traynor Trophy inter-league final at Eamonn Deacy Park this Sunday, 2pm.
Limerick have talent aplenty through individuals such as goalkeeper Josh McCarthy (Fairview Rangers), Tommy Frawley (Regional United), Shane Walsh (Ballynanty Rovers), Leon Daly (Pike Rovers), Vinny Ryan (Ballynanty), Conor Coughlan (Aisling Annacotty) and Leon Kirrane (Ballynanty).
On the social front, LCDUL (Limerick County Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Underage Soccer League) marked their 50th anniversary celebrations in suitable fashion at Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel, Adare.
