A CHARMING public house in North London, owned and operated by a Limerick family, will host a segment of this Friday’s Late Late Show on RTÉ (9.35pm).

Patrick Kielty will flash over to The Faltering Fullback for a preview of Saturday’s Six Nations rugby clash between Ireland and England at Twickenham.

The pub, run by Patrick and Michael Fitzsimmons from Foynes in County Limerick has strong Limerick ties, with Patrick the current chairman of Club Limerick London (GAA).

Limerick-born group Kingfishr also performed a famous rooftop gig at the venue last August.

Named after the establishment was the winner of the Kerry Grand National, Faltering Fullback, which had massive odds of 33/1 for Rathkeale trainer Eric McNamara, in the hands of Danny Mullins, at Listowel back in 2012.
