LOCATED around the home of the Limerick Greenway, Rathkeale House Hotel has been chosen as Limerick’s Greenway Business of the Month for this month.
To mark the accolade, the hotel is offering a stay and a 10 per cent discount on its breakfast menu for the month of February.
A spokesperson for Limerick City and County Council said the new business of the month initiative is “our way of giving back to the people and places that bring the greenway to life — showcasing them across Limerick Greenway’s website and social media channels, and strengthening the community spirit that defines West Limerick.”
The family-run hotel is located just seven minutes away from Adare village.
Guests will stay in one of their 27 luxury ensuite bedrooms, all recently decorated. The hotel, built in an old orchard, means guests wake up to the sound of the birds singing in the morning, catering for cyclists, walkers, families, leisure travellers and corporate clients.
The hotel also provides space for family events and large functions, with bespoke cakes, professional photographs, day trips from the hotel and personalised menu options all available.
Guests are also welcome to bring their pets along during their stay, with the Greenway just a short stint to take their furry friends out for a leisurely walk.
Bike hire is also available from the hotel, with the option to enjoy a picnic basket along the Greenway.
Limerick Council said it is “encouraging everyone to visit limerick.ie/greenway to see who’s featured each month and to support local”.
