HOPES are alive for a 58-apartment development at Ballykeeffe in Raheen.

DW Raheen Developments expressed its intention to apply to Limerick Council for the planning permission, which would be a modification to a previously approved application for 42 two-bed apartments.

The developer is now looking to add an additional 16 two-bed units to the plans, which would be set out over four storeys across a 5,495.2 square-metre site.

The planner said the new application would propose new modifications to the permitted façade and internal floor plan layout including internal service facilities, ESB substation room, and internal bicycle and bin storage.
