WEST Limerick Sports Complex is celebrating their new pool hoist, which provides safe and supported access to the swimming pool for individuals with reduced mobility.
The hoist allows users to enter and exit the water comfortably and safely, helping to reduce barriers that may otherwise prevent people from participating in swimming and aquatic activity.
Swimming can be particularly beneficial for individuals with mobility limitations, offering low-impact exercise that supports strength, flexibility and confidence.
The Complex management thanked the Grouse Lodge Wind Farm Community Fund, Sports Capital Grant, and staff and members who helped fund raise and all the community who gave generously.
