SPECIAL ‘paw-scriptions’ were filled out as the beloved teddy bear hospital returned to the University of Limerick this past week.
The event saw almost 700 children from 13 schools across the Mid West come together with students from UL’s School of Medicine to engage with medical environments in a fun way to help alleviate childhood anxiety around doctors and surgery.
The event was organised by 230 volunteers from students and staff at UL’s graduate entry medical programme.
