INDEPENDENT councillor Jerome Scanlan quizzed the Council on the social housing developments earmarked for Gortboy, Newcastle West, and when they are due to commence.
He also asked at the monthly district meeting about the status of those underway at Athea and Broadford.
Cllr Scanlan was informed that Limerick City and County Council is awaiting a connection agreement for the development at Gortboy.
“We have requested a meeting with Uisce Éireann with a view to providing an interim solution,” the local authority explained.

The estimated date of completion on the Ardagh project, the Council said, is October 20, 2026.
While the estimated date of completion for the Broadford project is September 1 next.
