Growing up in Rathkeale the focus of next Historical Society talk

GROWING up in Rathkeale in days gone by will be the focus of the next talk held by the Rathkeale and District Historical Society.

The Society announced that its upcoming talk will be held from 8.30pm at the Rathkeale House Hotel on February 27.

The keynote talk will be delivered by Dr Rachel A Murphy, from the School of History and Geography at the University of Limerick.

The talk will be titled ‘Growing up in Rathkeale? A life course study of children born in Rathkeale at the turn of the twentieth century’.

Admission is free, and attendees will be able to register membership of the Society on the day.
