NA PIARSAIGH were Limerick’s representatives at the weekend Comórtas Peile Páidí Ó Sé Gaelic Football festival in West Kerry.
Na Piarsaigh played Macroom (Cork) and Castledaly (Westmeath).
In all, 20 teams from over a dozen counties participated in various competitions.
Comórtas chairman Pádraig Ó Sé commented:“It was a pleasure to have Na Piarsaigh’s down with us. The lads should be proud of how they conducted themselves on and off the pitch.”
“It is always pure luck with weather conditions this time of the year but it did not dampen the spirit of the weekend with over 400 players togging out and socialising in West Kerry over the few days.”
The main winners were Carrigaline of Cork (men’s) and Kilmacud Crokess of Dublin (women’s).
