DAFFODIL Day will take place on March 20 and those who wants to get involved to support cancer patients can do so by visiting cancer.ie.
It’s estimated that 44,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer in Ireland in 2026.
But no matter what cancer brings, the Irish Cancer Society is there to help.
“It’s also thanks to the generosity of the public that we can fund groundbreaking cancer research to help develop kinder, gentler treatments, with the aim of achieving our ambition of a future where no one dies from cancer.
The more we raise on Daffodil Day, the more we can do,” said Edel Shovlin, acting CEO of the Irish Cancer Society.
