ALMOST 100 children turned out for a very special hospital visit last Thursday (February 26), but there wasn’t a sniffle or a fever among them.
They were attending the Our Lady of Lourdes Teddy Bear’s Hospital, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Community Action Centre in Rosbrien.
The event was aimed at giving children a gentle, positive first experience of healthcare settings in a safe and fun environment.
Around 90 children and their parents turned out for the event, helping nurse sick toys and teddies back to heath, and having lots of fun along the way.
