A FORMER Limerick school principal is fulfilling a lifelong dream and embracing a new challenge at the same time in setting out on the Everest Base Camp Trek in April.
After his retirement from Church Street national School last October, Niall West is now preparing for the once-in-a-lifetime trip and raising funds for a worthy cause along the way. The school has been a central part of his life, first as a student, teacher, and later as school principal.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting the students and future of Church Street National School.
