A FATHER and son have been getting the steps in all in the name of a good cause, and are aiming to do the same again at this year’s Great Limerick Run.
The Headway Harriers, comprised of Mick Shine, his son Alan, Shane Ryan, and Barry Hartnett presented a cheque for €2,575 to Headway Ireland Limerick from their fundraising across 2025.
So far they have raised over €10,000 for the worthy cause.
Now, the team are shaping up to shake a leg at this year’s Great Limerick Run for Headway, which provides provides a lifeline for survivors of stroke, falls, or accidents and those with acquired brain injuries through rehabilitation and support services as they work to integrate back into independent living.
