TWO abandoned horses were seized by Limerick City and County Council last week.

The animals – a brown and white male yearling and a chestnut female yearling – were found in the area of the Brothers of Charity in Bawnmore on Wednesday March 4.

According to the Council, the owners or keepers of the abandoned animals are not known.
