INDEPENDENT councillor Elena Secas called on Limerick City and County Council to provide an update on the Golf Links Road/Ballysimon Road Junction improvement scheme by O’Shea’s Pub.
Cllr Secas was told at the February Metropolitan District meeting that the scheme is being developed.
“The 2026 funding allocations from the Department of Transport are due in Q1.
Limerick City and County Council anticipates a favourable funding allocation to allow the scheme progress through the tender stage and subsequent construction stage,” Director of Transportation Patricia Liddy commented.
