WITH St Patrick’s Day just around the corner and plans ahead where to raise a glass on the national day, Limerick has been ranked highly in contention for Ireland’s ‘perfect pint’.
A survey conducted by casino.org Ireland found that Limerick was ranked fourth in Ireland for counties where punters are most likely to be poured the perfect pint of Guinness.
Limerick followed behind only Longford, Leitrim, and Carlow for the title – which is based on public reviews, density of venues, and the size of the local pub scene.
Neighbouring Clare ranked bottom of the list, behind Cavan, Mayo, and Waterford.
