LIMERICK artist and entrepreneur Nell Stitch was named Flower Preservation Supplier of the Year 2026 at the prestigious WeddingsOnline Awards.
Founder of Pressed Flowers by Nell, the Limerick business owner specialises in preserving bridal bouquets by carefully pressing and transforming wedding flowers into bespoke framed artworks. This allows couples to keep a meaningful part of their wedding as a lasting family heirloom.
The annual awards celebrate the best suppliers across Ireland’s wedding industry, with winners selected following a public vote and independent judging process.
Speaking after the awards, Nell said she was “still taking it all in”.
“This award means so much to me because every piece I create is deeply personal. I am the artist behind each artwork, carefully pressing and designing bridal bouquets into timeless pieces that couples can treasure forever,” she said.
The craft was first passed down to Nell by her grandmother, and she has spent the past 15 years practicing the traditional flower pressing technique. What began as a passion has grown into a thriving creative business, with Nell now preserving flowers for thousands of brides across Ireland and beyond.
Operating from her studio in Limerick City, the business has grown significantly in recent years, working with retailers including Brown Thomas and Arnotts.
Nell also paid tribute to the small team behind the business, including her mum Helen and Aisha and Clodagh.
“I couldn’t do what I do without their support and dedication. It’s a real team effort and I’m so grateful to work with such wonderful people,” she said.
Nell says the most rewarding part of her work is helping couples preserve the emotional memories tied to their wedding flowers.
“Every bouquet carries such meaning. Being trusted with something so sentimental is an incredible honour, and knowing the finished piece will be treasured for generations makes it all worthwhile,” she said.
