LIMROCKERS The Driven will return to the stage this May with two stripped-back performances in Newcastle West, marking a rare opportunity to see the band in an intimate setting.
Formed in the mid-1990s, the group enjoyed significant success following deals with Polydor Records UK and Chrysalis Records Publishing UK. Their album Dance with the Cannibal achieved chart success across Europe during a vibrant era for guitar-driven music.
The band toured extensively both as headliners and alongside high-profile acts including Stereophonics, Skunk Anansie and Kula Shaker.
Now, The Driven are set to perform two “unplugged” shows at Cleary’s Window Sessions in Newcastle West on May 28 and 29. The gigs will feature Paul Power, Darren Mullins and Brendan Markham. The venue has recently hosted acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith, further enhancing its growing reputation as a hub for live music.
Demand for the shows has been strong, with the May 29 performance already sold out. Limited tickets remain for the May 28 date and are available via Eventbrite.
