LIMERICK City and County Council was asked to consider putting ramps and raised platforms on the Knockane/Monagea road in County Limerick to reduce car speeds.
In response to Fine Gael councillor Tom Ruddle at the March Newcastle West district meeting, the local authority said there has been a review of this location by the district office, and it is proposed to put forward a proposal for speed ramps – flat tops.
“These works are subject to the availability of funding,” said senior executive engineer Ben Noonan.
