A WOMAN and a teen girl have been arrested in connection with the assault on Limerick woman Scarlett Faulkner last weekend.

Ms Faulkner (20s), from Limerick City, suffered catastrophic head injuries when she was assaulted at the side of the R494 road between Birdhill village and the M7 motorway on Saturday last (March 21).
