CARLOW-BORN brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn, who perform as Ye Vagabonds, bring their celebrated Irish folk sound to Dolan’s Warehouse this Saturday, 29 March, with a second date added on Sunday, 30 March due to high demand — low ticket warning is in effect.

The duo are widely regarded as central figures in the Irish folk revival that emerged from Dublin in the late 2010s, drawing on close-harmony singing rooted in the 1960s folk tradition, Irish traditional music, and contemporary songwriting. Rising from humble beginnings as street buskers in Carlow following the 2008 economic collapse, the Mac Gloinn brothers went on to build a community around live music events before signing to Rough Trade’s River Lea imprint in 2019.

Their critically acclaimed catalogue includes The Hare’s Lament (2019), a collection of traditional songs drawn from archives and oral tradition, and Nine Waves (2022), which blended traditional material with original compositions.

Their fourth album, All Tied Together, released in January 2026, marks a deeply personal new chapter. “All these songs have addresses,” says Diarmuid Mac Gloinn. “They’re about specific locations and specific people.”
