LIMERICK presenter Louise Cantillon is back on screen as TG4’s hit travel series Téacs Taistil returns for its fourth series, beginning this Thursday April 2 at 9.30pm.

Louise Cantillon with co-presenters Séaghan Ó Súilleabháin and Proinsias Ó Coinn.

Cantillon is a familiar voice on Today FM and co-creator of the popular How To Gael podcast. Louise is joined by returning presenters Séaghan Ó Súilleabháin and Proinsias Ó Coinn, with Ros na Rún actress Laura Ní hAoidhne joining the team for several episodes.

Across the new season, the presenters suit up with the Chicago Fire Department, soar above city skylines in helicopters, explore Pride celebrations in Toronto, dive into Derry’s jazz scene, encounter the legacy of the Knights of St John in Rhodes and host an Irish céilí in Bucharest. This isn’t about ticking landmarks off a list. It’s about connection, culture and full immersion.

In the new series, Cantillon travels to Chicago and Toronto, throwing herself into local life with characteristic energy — from exploring Toronto’s Chinatown to stepping into the world of burlesque in Chicago.

Cantillon, a qualified Irish and PE teacher, said of the new series: “The world feels mad these days, but what struck me about making this series is how much craic, kindness and pure character you find when you go looking for it.”

Téacs Taistil airs on Thursdays 9.30pm on TG4.
